European Youth Conference in Rome
From 13 to 15 October

The European Youth Conference takes place from 13 to 15 October at NH Midas Hotel, Rome. Youth organisations, political society and administrations representatives from all member states will discuss the promotion of youth access to rights in order to favour their independence and their participation to the social and political life.
The Italian Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Giuliano Poletti, will open the conference and the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth Androulla Vassiliou will address it.  The conference in-depth sessions will focus on the identification of key rights for the youth, their access to employment and credit, welfare systems and support to youth organisations.
