Schools of participation
Formation
The future of every democracy is also linked to the formation of those who will be its protagonists tomorrow. This conviction has inspired the MPPU to promote, for more than twenty years now, a network of Schools of Social and Political Participation and Training, aimed at young people.
THE OBJECTIVES:
- To develop categories of analysis and intervention, in the social and political field, adapted to current challenges.
- To establish in the cities, community training places, laboratories of ideas and political initiatives, where young people learn to exercise with competence, the rights and duties of citizenship, starting from their own territory.
The process is accompanied by a teaching community made up of university lecturers, experts involved in civil society and tutors who offer their pedagogical skills.
The methodology integrates classroom activities with workshops and participation paths in the cities and the local area. The lessons are held both physically and online.
Thematic conferences, integrative seminars and the exchange of experiences between the different schools are an integral part of the project.
