A new political culture

The political culture, of which the Politics for Unity Movement (MPpU) is the bearer and which it intends to spread, develops in the encounter and dialogue between the ideal of Unity, with its good practices, and the political thought operating in history and contemporary reality.

The commitment to research and study is mainly based on collaboration with the Scuola Abbà and the Sophia University Institute – both expressions, as the MPpU, of the Focolare Movement; along with university and post-university courses, research groups, and scholars dedicated to understand knowledge in the light of the ideal of Unity.

In this regard, the MPpU prefers interdisciplinary and intercultural work to contribute in a theoretical and practical way. The premise of such approach is the belief that mutual enrichment can help to highlight the values of individual people, for a shared understanding of world reality and to make it a common reference towards a new humanism based on the Culture of Unity.
