Urged on by the question “What kind of Europe do we want?”, last May 15th a convention was held in the Tuscolana villa in Frascati (Rome), which meant to create a space for reflection in view of the upcoming European elections which saw the participation of more than 100 citizens and talks given by more than 5 candidates to the European Parliament, one for each of the lists for Centre Italy.
The talks were on immigration, the Euro crisis, euroskepticism, the ecological challenge as well as the candidacy to the presidency of the Council.  It was an important contribution for the growth of a European conscience.
