Petition for recognition of the state of Palestine
We European citizens, in freely exercising our civil and policital rights, ask the European Parliament to immediately RECOGNISE the independent and sovreign state of Palestine according to its borders prior to 4 June 1967, so that the State of Palestine might live in peace and security alongside the State of Isreale.
What is the contribution of such a stance? Even the small steps count. Even taking the first initiative counts.
Today is the moment to do unto others what we would wish them to do to us, to love the other nation’s people as our own.
